2017-2019 Alumni Advisory Committee Application Period Now Open

2017-2019 Alumni Advisory Committee Application Period Now Open

Indianapolis - Following the election of the new Grand Council at the 59th Biennial Conclave in New Orleans, Venerable Grand Prytanis Christopher T. Hanson invites applications, referrals, and expressions of interest from eligible TKE alumni who are interested in serving on the Alumni Advisory Committee.

At Conclave 2017, The Black Book was amended to rename the Alumni Involvement Committee to Alumni Advisory Committee and update its purpose. The new Alumni Advisory Committee “shall be appointed by the Grand Prytanis to advise the Grand Council on planning, outreach and programming efforts that support the Fraternity. This committee shall update the Grand Council on pertinent matters.”

TKE is the Fraternity for Life. The Alumni Advisory Committee will work with the Grand Council during this biennium and beyond to strengthen the connection of alumni to Tau Kappa Epsilon. Serving on the Alumni Advisory Committee is a unique opportunity to serve the Fraternity and advance “love, charity, and esteem.”

Candidates should email a single PDF document to gc@tke.org which includes the following: 1) an expression of interest, 2) a professional resume, and 3) a TKE resume outlining involvement with Tau Kappa Epsilon. Applicants are encouraged to submit their materials by Thursday, September 15, 2017, though the search will continue until qualified candidates are identified.
