Responsibilities
As the Director of Communication, I am responsible for most publication materials such as monthly E-newsletters, press releases, and articles for The Teke Magazine. I am responsible for updating web site content, including news and events, and helping develop educational content for TKE programs. I also work on content for TKE Educational Foundation publications, as needed.
About Me
I am a proud graduate of Arizona State University, Go Devils! I became a Teke at Purdue University (Alpha-Zeta), transferred after my freshman year to ASU and became a founding father of the Beta-Xi Chapter.
Before joining the TKE staff, I was a Radio News Director for the Tri-State Radio News Network (TSN News) based in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. from May 2003 to August 2004. I then moved to Phoenix and worked as a Capital Press Corps Reporter for Arizona News Radio from August 2004 until November 2005. During that time I was able to interview several prominent Arizonans in the public eye and gained valuable communication skills. I joined the TKE staff in November 2005.
What I Like To Do in My Free Time
I am an avid volunteer working with several non-profits in Indianapolis, including the Indiana Chapter of Team in Training (the athletic and fundraising arm of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society) serving as the chair for the Grassroots Marketing Subcommittee. I love to run (having run in 6 marathons, 11 half-marathons and several other smaller races), reading and relaxing in the sun, participating in all sports (especially Men?s softball), traveling and hanging out with friends.
