Frater Takes National Championships & TKE by Storm
WARRENSBURG, MO - What’s better than winning a National Championship in a collegiate sport? Winning Two! That is what Frater Drew Frizzell (Delta-Lambda, Univ. of Central Missouri) did in one year capturing first in the hammer throw in the outdoor competition and the weight throw in the indoor championships. This is where the story of this superb gentlemen begins.
Frater Drew also earned All-America honors in five events, three outdoor (discus, hammer throw, shot put) and two indoor (shot put, weight throw). In addition, he earned All-MIAA (Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association) honors in shot-put, discus, and hammer throw outdoor, and weight throw and shot put indoor. His dedication to sport is only part of his college experience.
Aside from his exploits in track competitions, he also attended and graduated from the 2010 Charles R. Walgreen, Jr. TKE Leadership Academy. The Delta-Lambda Histor is also a donor to the TKE Educational Foundation and can be seen at the various community service events the chapter holds.
In the last year, the chapter has been dedicated to improving their standing on campus recruiting more men, increasing the numbers of service hours and philanthropy dollars, and grade point average. The Offices of the Grand Chapter extend a congratulations to Frater Drew and the Delta-Lambda Chapter for continuing the great tradition of building better men to build a better world.
