Fritz Jacobi Appointed to the TKE Grand Council

Frater Fritz JacobiINDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Grand Council and Offices of the Grand Chapter are pleased to introduce the newest member of the TKE Executive Board Frater Fritz Jacobi (Lambda-Alpha, Univ. of South Florida). Jacobi takes a vacant Grand Council At-Large seat. Grand Prytanis Herb Songer (Alpha-Upsilon, Fort Hays State Univ.) is looking forward to working with this dedicated and talented Frater.

“His proven leadership and track record in the business world, plus his experience as a TKE volunteer, including serving on the Educational Foundation Board, will serve us well on the Grand Council,” said Frater Herb.

Jacobi is currently a facilitator and Chair for the TEC/VISTAGE Chief Executive Program. He works with business owners and CEOs who bring their challenges and opportunities to a group of up to 16 peers. This process allows members to see the big picture, test ideas, overcome obstacles and seize opportunities in a confidential setting. He was a newspaper publisher from 1990 to 2008 with GateHouse Media, Rockford Register Star, and Gannett Co. Inc., to name a few.

Frater Fritz is a Life Loyal Teke and a regular donor to the TKE Educational Foundation (Leaders Society). He is the Board of Advisors Chairman for the Lambda Chapter (Univ. of Wisconsin), Madison Area Alumni Association Secretary, and previously served as a Director on the Educational Foundation Board (2003-10). He was TKE Alumnus of the Year (1993), Top Teke (1976), and Key Leader (1974-75). He earned his Associate of Arts in Business from the University of South Florida, Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Finance from the University of Wisconsin, and his MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
