What does the Chief of Staff do?

This position coordinates activities of the CEO and his Office with other internal business units and external agents. In addition, this position represents the CEO’s office at meetings when required and appropriate; advises the CEO, providing extensive professional assistance, project management, and recommendations on Fraternity issues and performs highly responsible management work covering a broad range of fraternity activities, and may include the supervision of intern staff assigned to the Office of the CEO and CEO. This is a professional position requiring extensive experience with customer service, executive administrative duties, board relationships, peer development, exceptional analytical and communication skills.

Expectations
  • Finalists will be expected to send all materials by July 6th at the Offices of the Grand Chapter Indianapolis
  • The start date will be shortly after final interviews

Required Qualifications 

  1. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (Masters is preferred).
  2. Be in good standing with TKE and your chapter (All dues paid for example).
  3. Demonstrate a track record of success in TKE and extracurricular activities.
  4. Understand this is a full-time job based in Indianapolis, Ind.
  5. Have leadership experience working with multiple organizations - profit and nonprofit.
  6. Comfort and experience interfacing with senior officers of profit and nonprofit.
  7. Highly organized, well structured and self-motivated to assist the CEO and Grand Council members in the performance of their duties.
  8. Excellent role model and community leader.
