TKE Seeks One Grand Council Member

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - As you may know, the Grand Chapter expanded the size of the Grand Council at the 55^th Biennial Conclave in New Orleans. The Grand Council consists of eight elected Grand Officers, two at-large alumni appointed by the Grand Officers, and a representative of the Collegiate Advisory Committee.

 

The Grand Council is now seeking potential candidates to fill the one at-large position currently vacant. If you know of an alumnus who would make an outstanding member of the Grand Council, please encourage him to apply. The Grand Prytanis requests that all applications and supporting materials be submitted by close of business on Monday, August 13.  The Grand Council's Board Development Committee will review all materials, evaluate the skills each candidate would bring to TKE's leadership team, and recommend top prospects for Grand Council selection and appointment.  Any materials sent after the deadline will not be considered for this vacancy, but will be kept on file. Email is the preferred method for submission.

The at-large position will be filled as soon as practical. Grand Council members are not compensated for their service, and are expected to cover their own expenses related to travel and TKE-related service. Candidates should further review the Grand Council Ethics & Commitment Statement, Conflict of Interest Policy, and other information as found on www.tke.org related to Grand Council service.
