Funds Raised for Local Chapters

Last night, the Offices of the Grand Chapter and the TKE Educational Foundation partnered to raise funds for Chapters across the TKE nation. The dollars raised went directly to each Chapter's special projects funds. Over the course of the evening, more than 15 staff members made calls and more than $4,000 was raised. These funds can be used for many purposes including registering Fraters for the upcoming RLCs

Thank you to all of the Fraters who we spoke with last night and especially to those who made a donation. If you would like to donate to your chapter's special projects fund, please go here, select "Special Projects Fund" and the chapter you would like your donation to go to.

In addition to the funds raised, the Offices of the Grand Chapter staff updated Alumni Fraters across the TKE nation on the status of their home chapter. The staff was able to showcase many of the great accomplishments from the past year including recruitment results and chapter awards such as Top TKE Chapter. A complete listing of chapter awards can be seen in the upcoming edition of THE TEKE magazine.

Frater Brad Shelton (Delta-Nu) was one of the many people contacted last night. He said that "Special projects funds are tremendous. It is great that you can give to the TKE Educational Foundation while at the same time directly benefitting your home chapter. I know that because I donated, the Delta-Nu Chapter will be able to send more Fraters to the RLC."

What are special projects funds?
The TKE Educational Foundation manages Special Project Funds for chapters at colleges and universities across the U.S. and Canada. These funds give loyal Tekes the opportunity to give back to the chapters that helped make them who they are today.

Special Project Funds support:

  • Educational facilities at chapter houses
  • Essential safety improvements at chapter houses
  • Grants for chapter members to attend TKE leadership programs across the country
