A Letter from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

Dear Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity Members, Please accept my personal thanks for your generous support of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. You are amazing champions for the lifesaving mission of St. Jude, and I know your Frater, and St. Jude founder, Danny Thomas, would be proud such strong brothers stand behind his legacy. Your work on behalf of St. Jude is truly making a difference. Through your commitment to the MRI facility and proton therapy synchrotron/particle accelerator, you are supporting the very cuttingedge technology that will help us treat and defeat childhood cancer. And you have rallied to St. Jude with complete dedication, reaching your first $1 million goal an entire year early. You are also way ahead of meeting your pledge of $2.6 million in six years. When the patients and families see your name on the walls at St. Jude, they will know that Praters all across the country are supporting them. This support touches the lives of families with children like Reese, an active little girl who loves to dance. It was discovered after a seizure that Reese suffered from a brain tumor and would need proton therapy. Reese's mom is so grateful St. Jude has a proton therapy program that meets her daughter's needs and that she could totally focus on helping Reese get better. You'll be glad to know that Reese responded well to her therapy at St. Jude and is finishing treatment at home.
