Responsibilities
As a Regional Director, I am responsible for the success of the chapters and colonies in my region. I am assisted by other members of the Regional Servicing Team, specifically Grand Province Advisors and Province Advisors. I coordinate chapter visitation and ensure that we have fully developed action plans for recruitment, education, and training in all our chapters and colonies. I conduct volunteer training conferences, work with interest groups, interface with chapter officers during crises, and also visit groups that need special on-site assistance.
About Me
I grew up near the town of Brookville, IN. I graduated from Ball State University where I received a BA in Exercise Physiology. Post school I worked at the Lands’ End corporate headquarters in Dodgeville, WI. I then gave the big city of Chicago a go working with Loyola University in corporate fitness. I spent five and half years with Indiana University’s Outdoor Center in the realm of leadership development, education and training.
I was initiated into the Grand Chapter in 2002 during the TKE Leadership Academy at Bradford Woods, and I started on the TKE staff in June 2007.
What I Like To Do in My Free Time
I am an avid bass angler, currently competing in tournaments in the Midwest and South. I also serve as a Tournament Director with USA Bass’in, a National Tournament Bass Fishing Trail. Fly fishing is a more recent hobby and have learned to tie my own flies. I also enjoy wood working, playing the guitar, spending time with my family and anything else outdoors!
