Erich M. Ploog

Frater Erich Ploog was initiated into Tau Kappa Epsilon in 1989 at the Epsilon-Omicron Chapter (Houston). While there, he served as Prytanis, Hegemon and Recruitment Chairman. He is a graduate of TKE Leadership Academy II and under his tenure as EO Prytanis, he was named a Top Teke and the chapter was also named a Top Teke Chapter in back-to-back years. Erich also served as a facilitator at three TKE Leadership Academies. He is a Life Loyal Teke member, a Founder Society donor to the TKE Foundation and recently served on the Grand Council Finance Committee.
In his professional career, Erich has recently become a serial entrepreneur - running a private management consulting business, managing one of Houston’s leading residential design firms and developing real estate. Previously he spent two decades in management consulting with firms like IBM and Anderson Consulting advising executives at Fortune 100 companies on strategic change initiatives and organizational change management. He brings this unique experience to TKE as well as we look to the future and proactively address change and challenges.
In addition, Erich volunteers with a number of non-profit organizations that address homelessness and the care of LGBTQ youth including Covenant House, Mission of Yahweh, and Legacy Community Health.
Frater Ploog resides in Houston, Texas with his partner, Ben. His personal interests include travel, art, design and real estate.
