Summer is already in progress here in the Valley of the Sun, and as we start the long hot journey, we are joined by another fellow Frater and no less than a member of our Grand Council. Jim Johnston, his wife, brother, and mother have all come here to Arizona. After providing some time for him to settle in, we are holding our first alumni event of the summer to welcome him officially. We are looking forward to this opportunity to meet him and see a few others in person rather than virtually. We will meet up on the west side of the Valley at the Saddle Mountain Brewing Company, located at 15651 W. Roosevelt Street in Goodyear. I realize this is not one of our usual haunts, but I have been there—the beer is cold, and they make a mean burger. We welcome any and all Fraters in the area, or who happen to be in town, to come out and join us to share the Bond of TKE. Wives and significant others are welcome and dress for the AZ weather.
