Delta Chapter Alumni Class of 1958 Reunite

21 men made the choice to rush the Delta chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon in the fall of 1954. Today, these men are all around the age of 80 and three of them, Don Pizza, Bill Baker and Starr Kirklin, met last May and decided it had been far too long since their pledge class was together.

They not only set a date, but decided to include their wives and significant others too. Also, they decided that their special event should be held in an extraordinary place, the University Club of Chicago in the millennium room.

Don Pizza, a member of the University Club of Chicago, helped plan their event with assistance from his wife, Ginger, and his TKE brothers, Starr (wife, Mary) and Bill (wife, Ann). Each of the attendees brought a guest, Ken Hall (wife, Anne), Bob Moist (wife, Marilyn), Jim Spence (significant other, Anita Tosetti Johnson), and Bill Studley (wife, Ruth).

"The night was glorious to say the least. The University Club of Chicago, founded in 1887, is at the corner of Michigan Avenue and Monroe Street and across the street from the Art Institute of Chicago. The setting was elegant, the beverages and meals were incomparable; but, best of all the camaraderie reminded everyone of the days when they were Knox College students and the TKE house was their home," Anita Tosetti Johnson said.

It's been quite some time since these men joined TKE together and unfortunately 6 of those 21 men have entered the Chapter Eternal, but their brotherhood remains strong. These Delta alumni truly stand for TKE being a Fraternity for Life.
