Tau Kappa Epsilon Thanks Alex Swenson for His Years of Service

INDIANAPOLIS - Tau Kappa Epsilon announces Alex Swenson (Rho-Upsilon, Franklin) is departing the TKE Professional Staff after more than eight years of dedicated service.

Donald E. Aldrich, TKE's Chief Executive Officer, shared "I am incredibly proud of Alex Swenson and his new professional opportunity. For more than eight years, Alex Swenson has shown tremendous work ethic and been an example of a servant leader. He has positively impacted our operation in countless ways. TKE is better due to his dedication to advancing our mission and coaching our members toward their potential. I know he will stay involved as a volunteer and remain a critical contributor at our educational programs."

Since 2013, Alex Swenson has been a critical behind-the-scenes member of the Professional Staff. Frater Swenson started his career on the TKE Professional Staff as a Conclave Intern for the Conclave 2011 in San Antonio. He then served as an Alumni & Volunteer Coordinator in 2013 and as the Programs & Events Manager beginning in March 2014. He spent the majority of his time at TKE serving as the Director of Education. In his role as the Director of Education, he was the primary person behind the development and execution of Leadership Academy, Regional Leadership Conferences and Conclave.

He was named as the Director of Fraternal Services in June 2021. The Director of Fraternal Services role's primary day-to-day responsibility is for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all operational activities of TKE. This includes direct responsibility for membership growth, expansion, education, travel, and programs for the Fraternity. Frater Swenson has helped to guide success of the Fraternity as we come out of the pandemic.

Frater Swenson shared, "I have spent my entire adult life up to this point working for the Offices of the Grand Chapter. My best friends, closest relationships, and most cherished memories all exist as a result of my time serving on the TKE Professional Staff. I will be forever grateful for my more than eight years here and the opportunities afforded to me by Donnie Aldrich, John Deckard, and so many others. I have gained countless professional and personal skills that I will carry with me throughout the rest of my life, but those pale in comparison to the friendships and connections I’ve had the opportunity to build. I want to issue the most sincere ‘thank you’ possible to everyone across TKE Nation for helping me become a better man, better leader, and better Teke, and I can’t wait to see you all again soon."

We thank this dedicated servant to Tau Kappa Epsilon and wish him success in the future.
