TKE Foundation Scholarship Recognizes Frater Tommy Miles

The TKE Foundation is pleased to announce the endowment of the Tommy Miles Scholarship Fund.

Frater Miles initiated into TKE in 1976 at the Xi-Chi chapter (Kennesaw State/Southern Polytechnic State). He was a constant presence at TKE events, attending his first Conclave in 1981 and his 20th in 2019. He often shared his love for TKE by providing Fraters attending Conclave and Regional Leadership Conferences with mini TKE flags and banners. He and his wife, Linda, often traveled to teach chapters how to screen print apparel.

A TKE Foundation Ambassador since 2009, Frater Miles was a living embodiment of the Fraternity for Life. As a volunteer for his chapter and a province-level volunteer for Arkansas and Georgia, he lived to further the mission of TKE and the TKE Foundation through love, charity and esteem.

The Fund will be awarded annually as a Grand Chapter scholarship to a collegiate TKE member maintaining a minimum 2.5 GPA.

"Whether we were screen printing at chapters or traveling, he never met a Teke he didn't chat with or have a screen-printed flag or banner for. His love of TKE and what it stood for never wavered," Linda Miles shared regarding Tommy's passion for TKE. "I think he would be very proud to know that his scholarship will help fellow Tekes with school."
