Pi-Omega Takes Challenge in Memory of a Frater

ALBANY, NY - Fraters from the Pi-Omega Chapter (SUNY-Albany) went on the Oprah Winfrey Show Tuesday pledging to have every member be a part of the "No Phone Zone." Oprah has begun promoting this program as a way to curb cell phone use while driving. They have provided several ways to sign the pledge and hope this action will begin to stem the tide of accidents caused by distracted drivers.

How does your state view the problem? Several have begun enacting laws to address the issue and Oprah has a page dedicated to educating the public about those efforts. Watch the footage (to the right) of the men involved in starting this off for Tau Kappa Epsilon and the video from Oprah about her mission.

The Offices of the Grand Chapter applaud the efforts of these Fraters and the countless hours dedicated to building a better world by all members. Be sure to follow the latest TKE News with the RSS Feed, on Twitter or the official TKE Facebook Fan Page (Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity).
