Fraters and Staff work with St. JudeINDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Do you desire to help the TKE Nation in a much bigger way than ever before? Are exceptionally passionate about this Fraternity? Do you want to help build better men to build a better world? If you answered yes to these questions, the Offices of the Grand Chapter may have an opportunity made for you. This spring positions need to be filled to complete the TKE Professional Staff in the upcoming fiscal year. If you feel like you have what it takes, We Want You to apply!

Positions Wanted
 
Associate Regional Directors
An Associate Regional Director is an ambassador of Tau Kappa Epsilon and the Offices of the Grand Chapter. They promote leadership in, and on behalf of, assigned collegiate chapters, colonies, and interest groups. They are leaders in growing healthier groups. In addition, they provide value based programming to the chapters, colonies, and interest groups within the region and educate members in the areas of leadership development, academic achievement, volunteerism, business principles, personal life skills, and risk management issues.
 
Expansion Consultants
An Expansion Consultant works to establish new colonies on targeted campuses during a 6-8 week period. These campuses include, but are not limited to, those that have had a TKE chapter at one time and have good alumni support desiring their chapter be restarted or those that have never had a TKE chapter (like an interest group), but are prime locations for one to begin because of great alumni support, a campus has asked for TKE to come to their campus, a local fraternity wants to become a TKE chapter, or an interested party has contacted TKE. These men are top recruiters or have an intense desire to spread the message of TKE to every corner of the world.

Regional Directors/ Alumni Cultivation Specialists
 
As a Regional Director, you are responsible for the success of the chapters and colonies in a region. He is assisted by other members of the Regional Servicing Team, specifically Grand Province Advisors and Province Advisors. He coordinates chapter visitation and ensure there are fully developed action plans for recruitment, education, and training in all our chapters and colonies. They conduct volunteer training conferences, work with interest groups, interface with chapter officers during crises, and also visit groups that need special on-site assistance. (These positions are for more seasoned Fraters looking to take the leap from volunteer to professional staff)

Expectations
  • Finalists will be expected to interview in ealry April at the Offices of the Grand Chapter Indianapolis
  • The start date will be mid-June
  • All materials listed below must be included to be considered

All Tekes, both young and young-at-heart are encouraged to apply. You should be willing to come to Indianapolis for an in-person interview, if after review you are a top candidate. Please submit the required documents no later than Friday, March 25, 2011. All who apply after this date will not be considered for these positions, but will be kept on file should other positions become available in the future.
 
Required Qualifications
 
1)      Have a bachelor’s degree (or will have one by June 2011)
2)      Be in Good Standing with TKE and your chapter (All dues paid for example)
3)      Demonstrate a track record of success in TKE and extracurricular activities
4)      Understand this is a full-time job based in Indianapolis, Ind.
