Scholarship Recognizes TKE International Sweetheart
Crockards

The TKE Foundation is proud to recognize TKE Nation’s women leaders for their commitment to academic excellence and community engagement through the Melanie Crockard TKE Woman of Distinction Scholarship.

This $500 award is granted yearly to the woman selected as the TKE International Sweetheart. To be considered for this scholarship, please complete the International Sweetheart Application at TKE.org/Sweetheart.

Similar to the Foundation’s Grand Chapter scholarships, the International Sweetheart Application is due by March 15.

TKE’s 2020 International Sweetheart Stephania Coello-Martinez shared what this scholarship and opportunity mean to her

“Coming from a first-generation home with a single parent, to receive such a high prestige has helped my journey to become something bigger than myself. The scholarship has brought ease to my studies economically in a tremendous way. Overall, the Melanie Crockard TKE Woman of Distinction Scholarship shows how not just recognition can be received but also push you to finish a goal within your college career. Becoming TKE's 2020 International Sweetheart has brought me courage as a woman to step foot into a male role and represent something that is designed to push men into manhood. It has strengthened my abilities of communication, independence, and intellect to move forward not just within college. I want to thank Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity and the Melanie Crockard TKE Woman of Distinction Scholarship for allowing me to be something more than just rank or honor, but a woman of character.”
