Director of Fraternal Health
Theta-Iota
Northern Michigan University
Responsibilities
As the Director of Fraternal Health, I work with the Chief Information Officer to identify fraternal trends and indicators to assess the health and success of the Fraternity in Key Result Areas. I assist the Fraternal Services team in supporting our chapters and colonies and support our Programs team with curriculum development for various TKE conferences. I am also the lead contact in our partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
About Me
Yooper. I attended Northern Michigan University where I received a degree in Outdoor Recreation, Leadership and Management. As a collegiate, I took advantage of the many opportunities TKE provided me, holding
multiple positions within my chapter and attending every educational conference I could. I truly believe in the pursuit of being better than I was yesterday.
I served for ten years in the Michigan Army National Guard and am a member of the TKE Order of the Shield as well as a Life Loyal Teke and member of the TKE Educational Foundation’s Knights of Strength. I’ve been a member of the TKE staff since 2007.
What I Like To Do in My Free Time
My wife and I enjoy opportunities that get us outdoors-grilling in our backyard, sitting around a fire, hiking, anything on the water or playing sports. I’ve learned to enjoy running and have found a love of obstacle course racing. I support most Michigan sports teams, particularly the Lions, Tigers and Wolverines, although I’ve been seen rooting for fellow NMU Alum, Tom Izzo, and his Spartans around tournament time.
