Director of Fraternal Health
Northern Michigan University
As the Director of Fraternal Health, I work with the Chief Information Officer to identify fraternal trends and indicators to assess the health and success of the Fraternity in Key Result Areas. I assist the Fraternal Services team in supporting our chapters and colonies and support our Programs team with curriculum development for various TKE conferences. I am also the lead contact in our partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
A proud Yooper, I attended Northern Michigan University where I received my degree in Outdoor Recreation, Leadership and Management. While an undergraduate, I tried to take advantage of the many opportunities TKE gave me, holding multiple officer roles within my chapter and attending all of the conferences our fraternity offered. Since joining the TKE Staff in 2007, I have had the pleasure of working with thousands of Fraters across TKE Nation.
A member of the TKE Order of the Shield, I am a ten-year veteran of the Michigan Army National Guard, having deployed in 2003 and 2010. I am also a Life Loyal Teke and member of the TKE Educational Foundation Knights of Strength.
What I Like To Do in My Free Time
Spending time with my wife, Shaunna. I enjoy opportunities that get me outdoors, whether that is grilling in the backyard, sitting around a fire pit, hiking in the woods or taking part in sporting activities. I’ve learned to enjoy running for the first time in my life and have found a love of obstacle course racing. I support most Michigan sports teams, but particularly the Lions, Tigers and Wolverines, although I’ve been seen rooting for fellow NMU Alum, Tom Izzo, and his Spartans around tournament time.
